OK, I am a huge advocate for unorthodox shit, but this shit is truly bugged out. Although, it comes to absolute no surprise that miss DELFINA DELETTREZ is the creator of this design; I actually would expect no less. I’m a bigger fan of her eyeballs & animal designs, but she just don’t seem to give a ffff-.

always in motion

time. i feel it is inarguably the most reliable thing in the universe. yes, the universe. it’s always going the same pace, & it’s always gonna be there.. it will always come. it’s the only indefinite & consistant thing. time is forever, time is infinite.
watches. nowadays, most people aren’t relying on traditional wrist watches & wall clocks to tell time.. we have our cell phones, computers, & digital television to do that for us.
my appreciation comes through my mama. through her collection, i’ve learned that if it’s not time you’re looking at, it’s the art. traditional watches are intricate gadgets. every turn of each gear & wheel HAS to be on point. there’s so much going on in that 1 inch diameter just to let you know that it is 7:42pm or whatever.
movado, museum. this is the one my mom has. what i really like about movado is its super simple, yet elegant, design.. with a single dot at 12 representing high noon.. standardly sterling silver or 18k gold, but can be encrusted in diamond or any other gemstone. movado means “always in motion” in esperanto.
fossil, wood inlay. obv known for their watches. & obv well-earned recognition. this company is based in texas, bet you didn’t know that.
swatch, icy area, & ligne de vie. swatch is a swiss company. more popular for thier casual watchwear, with some pretty tight patterns.. one of my fav is this psychedelic thing they got goin on. i really dig that icy area design, you can see through part of the face, they have this excellent pink version too under “pink ivy.”
burberry, endurance, mint. loves it.
calvin klein, black leather glass dial. daamn i dunno bout you but i think that’s tight. reminds me of old deborah cox music videos. ha.
technomarine, spiderman tourbillon, & techno maori junior. technomarine introduced it’s maori collection looking for a creative change of direction.. their goal was to put emphasis on culture.. “we wanted to come up with a product that had an emotional value.” so they say..
invicta, titan russian diver. daamn check that detail. i like that cute little chain too.
paul frank tv, & calculator. i like paul frank.
d&g, test card. this is dope, now that’s a tv watch. how much is 175 pounds in american loot?
arne jacobsen, banker. this one reminds me of pleasantville. mad simple.. mad incredible.. wear that in arne’s egg chair.
tokyo bay, neptune. i like the way this one makes me feel. i feel like the brady bunch & tex avery’s cartoons of tomorrow.
nixon, diamond rotolog. added blingbling. those skulls need flowers.
kronoform robot watch! my friend marc really has one of these. or something like it yeah. ohh i love it.
tokima digi-robot. they used to make plastic versions of this in the 80′s.. this is the ’98 stock metal something or other. so cute.
ecko, flava flav clock! i remember my first time seeing this.. i think i shed a little tear right there at the store.. i still dream about waking up to “flava flaaav!” & i only mean through the clock.
speaking of which, the man knows wassup.
goes to show that these things, are timeless.. haha
